School assessment and reporting
Terms of use
Effective date: 10 October 2026
These terms govern use of e-Assessify, the school assessment and academic reporting platform provided by Sir Chris Edutech Solutions. By creating a school account or using an authorised workspace, you agree to these terms. The person registering a school must have authority to act for that institution.
1. Purpose and eligibility
e-Assessify supports Ghanaian schools with academic setup, staff assignments, learner records, assessment entry, GES-style weighted calculations, attendance, reports, analytics, kindergarten development assessment and promotion workflows. Accounts are for authorised school staff and platform administrators. Registration is subject to verification and approval; submitting an application does not guarantee activation. Demo information is illustrative and must not be used as an official academic record.
2. Account and access responsibilities
Provide accurate school and administrator details, protect credentials and use only your own authorised account. School administrators are responsible for staff invitations, roles, class and subject assignments, and promptly removing access when responsibilities change. Do not share passwords, bypass permissions or access another school's records. Report suspected account compromise through support promptly.
3. School data and privacy
Schools retain their rights in their records and authorise the provider to process them to deliver, maintain and support the service. You must have lawful authority to upload learner, guardian and staff information, provide appropriate notices and obtain consent where required, especially for children's information. Upload only necessary information and secure exports and backups. The Privacy policy explains processing, providers and request channels. These terms do not transfer ownership of school records to the provider.
4. Accurate assessments and human decisions
Schools are responsible for correct learner details, marks, assessment weights, grading scales, attendance, remarks and promotion settings. Check calculations, report cards and exports before approval, distribution or official use. The school must confirm that its configuration follows current applicable education requirements. e-Assessify is an independent tool; use does not imply GES approval, accreditation or a guarantee of compliance. Authorised educators remain responsible for final academic and progression decisions.
5. AI and predictive tools
Insights, risk indicators and predictions provide decision support and may be incomplete or wrong. They are not diagnoses or guarantees of future performance. Do not use them as the sole basis for promotion, exclusion, discipline or another significant decision about a learner. Review the evidence, consider the learner's circumstances and allow appropriate school review. Before using external AI, confirm that the school may disclose the submitted information and minimise identifiers.
6. Acceptable use
Use the service for legitimate school administration and education. Do not falsify results, distribute records without authority, upload unlawful or harmful material, harass others, introduce malware, scrape personal information, interfere with availability or attempt unauthorised access. Do not use school data for advertising or unrelated profiling. Security testing requires prior authorisation from the provider.
7. Subscriptions and service availability
Activation, renewals, prices, payment dates and any refund arrangements are governed by the subscription offer or written agreement provided to your school. Registration alone does not authorise an unspecified charge. Contact support to confirm commercial terms before paying. Access may depend on school approval and subscription status. Maintenance, connectivity issues and provider outages can interrupt service; no uninterrupted availability or specific uptime is promised unless agreed in writing.
8. Exports, backups and ending access
Schools should maintain appropriate copies of important academic records and protect downloaded reports, CSV files and backups. Contact support to arrange an export before closing the workspace. Access may be restricted or suspended for security incidents, misuse, inactive school status or applicable subscription conditions. Where practicable, the provider will explain the reason and steps to restore access. Suspension or closure does not itself delete records; retention and deletion are handled as described in the Privacy policy and applicable school arrangements.
9. Platform ownership
The provider and its licensors retain rights in the application, branding and software. Authorised users receive permission to use the service for their school's activities while access is active. Schools retain their own logos, uploaded materials and records. Do not reproduce or resell the platform or present its branding as your own without permission.
10. Responsibility and disputes
Each party is responsible for its own actions and obligations under applicable law. The provider does not guarantee that reports or insights are error-free or that use will produce a particular educational outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms are governed by Ghanaian law, subject to mandatory applicable rights. First contact support to seek a resolution; unresolved disputes may be brought before a competent court in Ghana.
11. Changes and support
Revised terms will be posted with an updated effective date. Material changes should be communicated to affected schools before taking effect; any separate written school agreement governs where it expressly differs. For account, subscription, privacy or service questions, call Sir Chris Edutech Solutions on 0207400525 or 0249617762, or use Dashboard → Support.
